For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:20
Even though the holidays are already upon us, we cannot forget those that are seeking help, understanding and healing. This week a sweet group of ladies came together to pray and fellowship with each other. I was fortunate to be included. We each have our trials, our stories, our praises and heartaches, but together our common denominator is God. God brings people together in His Name for a reason. Being together makes us not feel alone, especially knowing powerful prayer warriors are praying for us on our journey. Without a friend in God to walk along side of us, we can slip into darkness, feel hopeless and fall into disbelief at times. Friendships and fellowship are not by chance. God orchestrates our steps and these times are considered divine appointments.
As believers, we are to lift one another up and be an encouragement. Friends can lean on us until they can stand on their own as their faith builds. Seek to be an encourager and share what God has given us. He will then put us in settings where we can make a difference through Him. And if you are feeling lost and searching for help, ask God to direct your steps directly to a person, a group or a church to find support and encouragement. He will lead you. I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. Isaiah 42.16
